Does the No Surprises Act cover Medicare beneficiaries?

Medicare plans, including Original Medicare and Medicare Advantage, are not covered by the No Surprises Act. But that’s not as bad as it sounds because people with Medicare already have all the protections in the law. The No Surprises Act simply extends them to people with private insurance who don’t have Medicare.
